About milk-fed lambs. Products of the Czech farmers

Since March, 25th till April, 25th restaurant “La Veranda” will offer the dishes prepared of milk-fed lambs to the visitors. In the beginning of January Jury Kolesnik and the chief-cook of restaurant Radek David have selected some fortnight lambs in a farm of sir Shtepanek which is situated in ecologically pure area named Shumava. In this natural reserve where woods and meadows reach tens of kilometers, the animals spend time since April till November.

Now the milk-fed lambs are three months old. They already accept the vegetative food, but continue to receive milk of mother. Now they eat juicy grass and breathe the pure air on free open spaces of Shumava to please the visitors of restaurant "La Veranda" with extremely gentle and tasty meat shortly.
During the action you can taste:
Lamb gammon with cream spinach
Osso buco with young french potatoes
Brisket, baked in a crust of fragrant grasses
and many other things.......
